The Shenandoah Valley Technology Consortium is now entering its eighth year as an established organization.  Our mission is to provide school divisions and universities with information and training.  We also provide an opportunity for networking among computer professionals and opportunities to be advocates for the staff and students in the Shenandoah Valley and Piedmont areas.

The SVTC strives to ...

In the past, we have sponsored technology integration training workshops, seminars on web content filtering, and web page contests for schools.  Our monthly meetings have included visits to our member schools, presentations by commercial web page development corporations, and presentations and troubleshooting sessions by computer representatives.

Annual school division membership to the consortium is $100.  The membership will allow each school division a vote and a reduced rate for future consortium activities for staff.  This year the consortium is planning to offer technology training aimed at school administrators.

For additional information, please contact one of the SVTC officers.  To become a member of the Shenandoah Valley Technology Consortium, please complete and mail the membership application (PDF format) with your school purchase order.
