CEC (Council for Exceptional Children)

The CEC Club is open to any student interested in volunteering with persons with disabilities. An annual activity is a gift drive to fill Christmas stockings for needy children for Salvation Army. This year the club's special activity was a gift and fund raiser for a student with a disabilty whose home burned in a fire. Over $1,300 in cash was donated by SHS students. The CEC is currently supporting the start-up of a Challenger Little League in Elkton for children with disabilities that prevent their participation in Little League.
