Cave Hill School

The Cave Hill school was located about two miles west of Singers Glen on land deeded to the Linville District School Board by Henry Frank and wife on April 22, 1882. The school is located and named in Lake's 1885 Atlas of Rockingham County. The one-room frame school opened in the fall of 1882. Teachers at the Cave Hill school are unknown. The Cave Hill school closed in 1903 when the consolidated four-room Singers Glen School was opened.
