Rockingham County students attend 15 elementary, 4 middle, 4 high schools, a governor's school, a technical center, and an alternative education center. The student enrollment of approximately 11,400 is supported by over 1,850 full-time employees. Dr. Carol Fenn is Superintendent.

As over 25,000 SOL tests descend from on high in Richmond to the computer desktops of RCPS students, it is a good time to remember that a type of education arguably as important as the facts and figures measured by these objective online evaluations is also occurring in our schools. |
