Rockingham County Public Schools

Living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Rockingham County students attend 15 elementary, 4 middle, 4 high schools, a governor's school, a technical center, and an alternative education center. The student enrollment of over 11,000 students is supported by nearly 2,000 full-time employees. Dr. Carol Fenn is Superintendent.

  • The Rockingham Educational Foundation is sponsoring its 20th Educational Grant Program this fall to support educational excellence in our schools. Over $47,000 was awarded to RCPS staff last year from the Foundation's "Chip-In" for Quality Schools Golf Classic. The 2014 - 2015 guidelines and application form are on the REFI web page.
