Included in the weekend was a Dinner Theatre production of 'Ragtime' and the students were scheduled to participate in the BreatheDeep Baltimore Lungevity Walk. While the walk was postponed due to inclement weather, the students were able to do their own version of the walk and donations collected were given to the organization.
The choir gave a stellar performance, even in the rain, and were amazing representatives of East Rockingham High School and Rockingham County Public Schools.
See their performance below:
“The ERHS choir and Mrs. Butler represented not only their school but all of Rockingham County VERY well on a very large stage on Saturday evening. I was so proud to be there and witness it. Not only Saturday, but during an impromptu performance on Friday night when they wowed the entire theater. Perhaps more than their performance as a choir, they also represented us well as young adults. Very respectful and appreciative of the opportunity.
While I was not an official part of the group, it was an honor to be there and be with them throughout the experience.”
