Note: RCPS will provide eMac adapters and 25’ VGA cables for non-ceiling mounted installations as needed (ceiling mounted installations will need the plenum cable listed below). Schools will be responsible for cleaning projector filters and providing replacement bulbs.
Lamp replacement: To replace bulbs for Epson projectors, search the following products at the CDWG website:

Projector Ceiling Mount Information
Procedural Note: To mount a projector, there must be an electrical outlet in the classroom's ceiling.
- If electricity is already in place in the ceiling, email Joe Hill once all needed equipment (see checklist above) has arrived to arrange for the projector to be mounted.
- If electrical work needs to be done, make arrangements with the RCPS maintenance department.
- Once the electricity is in place, email Joe to request the mounting job.
- If you plan to also have a SMARTBoard mounted, contact Joe about the recommended procedure for this, as well.

Otherwise, external speakers would be a better solution for sound. This cable can still be used to deliver video, regardless of the sound situation. |
