Ms.
Lisa Milliken-Principal, Drew Miller-Assistant Principal
- Montevideo Middle School is an excellent school.
Here at our homepage you will find information about the many aspects
of Montevideo Middle School including clubs, organizations, homework
hotline, faculty/staff listings, etc.
Located in the heart of the scenic Shenandoah
Valley, Montevideo Middle School is 5 miles east of Harrisonburg, just
off of state route 33. Our school is framed by the Appalachian
Mountains (Skyline Drive) 8 miles to the east and the Shenandoah
Mountains 15 miles to the west. The majestic Massannutten Peak sits 2
miles due north.
- Our school facility is adequate for a student body
size of 620+ students. We have a 2 story building (once used as
Montevideo High school), built in 1950. An annex was built in 1973 for
the middle school that operated as a stand alone school complete with a
small utility gymnasium, library, office, etc. Contained on the school
grounds are: an arboretum, full scale greenhouse, baseball diamond,
football/soccer/track facility, utility field and outdoor barbecue
facility. Our major construction and refurbishment is complete. We are
in a nice "new" air-conditioned environment.

- From I-81 take Exit 247A onto US 33 East. Proceed on
US 33E approximately 8 miles to Rt. 996. Turn right on 996; in 1/2 mile
MMS will be on your right.
