Dear Eighth Grade Student:

We hope you’ve had an enjoyable and safe summer. A new school year is right around the corner, and we are pleased to announce that you will be a part of the Eagles’ team for the 2009-2010 school year. We’re looking forward to an exciting time of learning together.

The Eagles’ instructional team includes:

Michelle Crotteau: English/Reading

Donna Breneman: English/Reading

Kendra Forry: Science

Kajsa Nicholas: Science

Laura Roberts: Math 8 & Algebra 1

Kathy Leininger: Math 8, Geometry, & Algebra 1 Part 1

Chris Botkin: World Geography & World Studies

Debbie Shank: Computer Literacy

All students assigned to the Eagles will need the following supplies:

Two - 1 1/2" 3 ring binders (Botkin & English)

One - 2" 3 ring binder (Computer, Math, Science will combine in one binder)

Three Sets - 8 tab dividers (one set for each binder)

12 pack color pencils (Botkin & Science)

2 - Highlighters (English & Science)

4 - Low Odor Dry Erase Markers (Math)

Loose Leaf Paper (all classes)

Pencils (all classes)

Pens (all classes)

If you would like to make a donation for this school year, the following items would be greatly appreciated. You can bring the donated items to Mrs. Shank’s computer class.

Low odor dry erase markers

#2 pencils (non-mechanical)

Highlighter

As you plan for the beginning of the school year we would like to inform you that we will be taking a field trip to Washington DC on October the 8th. The cost for this trip will be no more than $40 each. A majority of the cost is due to using tour buses. We also will be asking for chaperones so please keep this in mind. We look forward to an excellent year of learning and a great team experience.
