RCPS Highlights
New Principals Appointed for 2004-05
Laura Evy has been appointed as the principal of Elkton Middle School. Formerly, she was a General Supervisor with RCPS.
Marcy Williams has been appointed as the principal of J. Frank Hillyard Middle School. She has been the principal of John C. Myers Elementary School.
Karen Thomsen is the new principal of Linville Edom Elementary School. She moves to LEES from J. Frank Hillyard Middle where she was an assistant principal.
Sandy Cupp is now principal at John C. Myers Elementary School, moving from Linville Edom Elementary School.
David Burchfield is now principal of John Wayland Elementary School. His former position was Director of Grants and Federal Programs for RCPS.
Other administrative changes include Dick Harper, General Supervisor; Fred Babbitt, Director of Media Services; and Nancy Lantz, Director of Grants and Federal Programs. New Assistant Principal appointments include Joe Taylor, Elkton Elementary School; Doug Aldefer, Elkton Middle School; Maria Blair, Plains Elementary School; and Becky Rhodes, J. Frank Hillyard Middle School.
