Purchase Domino's Pizza on the third Wednesday of each month and part of the profits benefit WSPMS PTA.
The PTA provides support which enables the school to benefit from parent and community resources. The main objectives are to help coordinate volunteers and further communication between parents, teachers, and administration.
The 2010-2011 Officers are: Dawn Kern, President; Jeff Pierson, VP; Sara Atkins, Treasurer; Kristi Carter, email contact person; Graham Witt, Reflections; Katrina Spickler, Domino's Fundraising; Sara Atkins, Superintendent PAC Representative; Kristi Carter, Hospitality Committee; and Ann Rainard, 8th grade t-shirt chair. Please contact Dawn Kern if you are interested in helping support the work of the WSPMS PTA. The WSPMS PTA needs individuals to serve on the PTA board for the 2011-2012 school year.
The WSPMS PTA plans to provide staff with special meals, ice cream rewards for students. The PTA officers work together to organize volunteers for staff needs, and Domino's and CiCi Pizza nights.
The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meets with school administrators four times a year. At these meetings, the administration informs those present of the various events taking place, explains changes at the school, and gives insight to the school philosophy and direction. There is time for parents to ask questions and provide input into what they expect from the school. All parents and guardians are invited.
Our student information system allows parents to access their child's school attendance and class grades. If you would like more information on how to access this portal with your personalized log-in, please contact Mrs. Shifflett, principal. NOTE: Log-ins are not the same as the previous year.
