Computer Labs

School computer labs are located in rooms 115, 144, and 213. Each of these three labs are are equipped with 25 iMac computers, as well as an LCD projection device. We also have two mobile labs each with 25 MacBook computers.  New in the 2011-2012 school year is an iPad Lab with 25 iPad 2 devices.

Teachers wishing to use a lab for their classes need to schedule the time on the TAHS Computer Lab Calendar on FirstClass or email the dates needed to Ms. Weaver (Mrs. Evans or Mrs. Meadows). There is a daily computer lab calendar posted in the window of Ms. Weaver's office in carse of technical probems.

Students may use the computers in the library before school and during the morning break, and after school to work on research or papers. Students wishing to use the computer lab during their study hall period will need a pass from their study hall teacher.  Study hall teachers will check the availability of lab space online and assign each student to an available lab.

Help will be available with Internet access for the purpose of subject matter research, college and career searches, and basic word proccessing. Students are not to use school computers just to "surf" the web or to play games.

Teachers, please note that Lab 213 has no supervisor during Period 1.  Please do not send students to this computer lab from your class during first period. Remember, no students are to work in a lab without a teacher to supervise their activities. The Lab 213 (Period 1) will be closed to everyone other than a teacher with a class.

If you bring your class to Lab 213 during Period 1, you are responsible for making sure the lights are off and the room is locked when you leave. 

*Mr. Hutchinson (Lab 115) will eat during First Lunch. **Mrs. Rees (Lab 144) and **Mrs. L. Pence (Lab 213) will eat during Third Lunch. Please do not send students from your class to Lab 115, Lab 144, or Lab 213 during these times.

Due to budgetary problems, there will be no after school lab this school year.
