Alternative Education Department

Posted on October 14,, 2011 •

Rockingham County Public Schools is committed to providing diverse learning environments and opportunities for those children who have different habits, behaviors, and learning styles. Some children require more individual attention and encouragement, others perform better in a nontraditional classroom setting. Alternative Education programs at Turner Ashby High School give students and parents choices and opportunities for success.

For further program requirements and an application for Alternative Education, students should see Mr. Phil Judd, Assistant Principal.
