Blazer Girls Support Breast Cancer Awareness
At the Friday night basketball double header, the Girls varsity came out in pink uniforms during warmups and played the game raising awareness for Breast Cancer.  Jef Rebich from State Farm Insurance donated the $860.00 for the uniforms.

Hoops for Hope
The "HOOPS FOR HOPE" was held at the Boys and Girls varsity basketball game. "Blazing Trails for a Cure," the Spotswood Relay for Life team, held the event to celebrate survivors of cancer and to raise money for research, education and support of survivors.  Over $1,300 was raised by selling shirts, holding games, and selling Kookies for a Cure.  Mr. Failes tells us that the team hopes to raise $8,000 for the year before the Relay for Life, which will be held in May.

Support the Blazers and our PTA at Martin's
The Spotswood HS PTA is participating in the Martin's A Plus Program. This is a program sponsored by the Martin's Food Store on Rt 33 near the mall. If you sign up for the program, each time you swipe your bonus card the PTA will receive a % of the total revenues at the end of the year. This does not effect your personal bonus points.
To sign up for the Martin's A Plus Program: sign in at http://www.martinsaplus.com
Choose "designate" from the tabs the top of the screen. Type in your 11 digit Martin's number (from back of your card) and 3 letter of your last name. Choose Spotswood High School(not the elementary school).....our number is 02455.
