Three Springs School

The Three Springs School was located about three miles east of Montevideo along the Shenandoah River. The exact date of construction of the school is unknown but the school is identified in Lake's 1885 Atlas of Rockingham County. Three Springs was one of four small schools closed when the Pine Knot school was built in 1910 (see also Idahoe, Pineville and Kyger).
