Weaver's School

Weaver's School was one of two schools built in 1877 (see also Pine Grove) along the Rawley Pike west of Harrisonburg. The Weaver's school was a two-room school near Weaver's Church. The school is indicated as school# 9 in Lake's 1885 Atlas of Rockingham County. The Weaver's school continued to operate until it was combined with the neighboring Pine Grove school in 1909 to form the new school at Dale Enterprize.
