The Snapp's Creek School was located in the western part of Central District near Fairview Church of the Brethren a short distance north of the Singers Glen Road. The date of construction of this one-room school is unknown but the school is indicated in Lake's 1885 Atlas of Rockingham County. When the new four-room school at Singers Glen was opened in 1903, it drew from the school population of Snapp's Creek and, as a result, the school ceased operating after the 1903-04 school session. Teachers known to have taught at Snapp's Creek are:
-97 (three sessions) Walter Myers
-99 (two sessions) Rawley Whetzel
-1900 Addie Hopkins
-04 (four sessions) W. A. Showalter
