Pulse School

The Pulse School was located on land obtained from Henry Pulse three miles north of Harrisonburg on the Kratzer Road. The school is mistakenly identified as Linville School in Lake's 1885 Atlas of Rockingham County. The Pulse School was a one-room frame building constructed in 1880. The only known teacher to at the Pulse School was Ethel E. Henton, who taught at the school during the 1909-10 school session.
