The Park school was located in Park View north of Harrisonburg. The school started out as a training school for Eastern Mennonite College in 1917. A building from the old Assembly Park grounds was moved to a wooded area at the corner of the Eastern Mennonite College property. In 1923, the Park School was incorporated into the Rockingham Public School system. In 1929, a new three-room brick school was built by John I. Lee at a cost of $8000. When the school grew to the point of adding a fourth teacher in the early 1960s, one classroom was placed in a house next door to the school. Park school was closed in 1967.
