Dovel School

The Dovel School was located in Rinaca's Corner north of Elkton near the Page County line. The Dovel School was a one-room frame building built in 1879. This building served as the community school until 1924 when it was replaced by another one-room frame building built with materials supplied by the county at a cost of $1200. The building was built by local residents with J. A. Rinaca as the foreman. The Dovel School was closed in 1940.
