Changes in Standards of Learning:

Objectives added to 2009 Standards of Learning not included in 2001 Standards of Learning:

o Given a set of 15 items, count the items, write the number of items, and select the number from a given set
o Identify the ordinal positions first through tenth
o Count forward to 100, and count by fives and tens to 100
o Identify one more than and one less than a number
o Identify the part of a set and/or region that represents a fraction for halves and fourths
o Use an analog and digital clock to tell time to the hour
o Answer questions related to data the students have gathered and displayed in graphs and tables

Objectives from the 2001 Standards of Learning that have been Removed:
o Draw plane geometric figures (Instead, students will trace them)
o Investigate and describe the results of dropping a 2-colored counter or using a multi-colored spinner
