- This course is an
introductory course to prepare students for the world of work.
Instruction is provided in areas of career exploration, career
planning, and pre-employment skill development. Membership in the
curricular club, Skills USA-VICA, is encouraged.

Training I (Elective)

- ICT I is a three credit
cooperative education program which combines in-school classroom
work with on-the-job training. Classroom instruction develops
pre-employment skills, employment skills, social skills,
communication skills, management of personal finances, personal
and work safety, and computer literacy. Supervised on-the-job
training is given by business establishments to employed ICT
students. Documentation is required in the way of training
agreements, training plans, hour and wage reports, employer
evaluations and other necessary forms. Membership in the
co-curricular club, Skills USA-VICA, is recommended.

Training II (Elective)
- Grade: 12 3
Credits
- Prerequisite: ICT
I
- ICT II is a three credit
cooperative education program which combines in-school work with
on-the-job training. Classroom instruction develops social skills
and awareness, knowledge of labor organizations, principals of
economics, and consumer skills. Advanced training is given in the
areas of personal finances, employment, business procedures, work
safety, and computer literacy. Supervised on-the-job training is
given by business establishments to employed ICT students.
Documentation is required in the way of training agreements,
training plans, hour and wage reports, employer evaluations and
other necessary forms. Membership in the co-curricular club,
Skills USA-VICA, is recommended.
