Pleasant Valley

Fourth grade is a year of discovery. Students learn by participating in projects and field trips and classroom studies. Students are exposed to Virginia history, beginning with Native Americans up to the current century. In science students explore weather, space, plants and physics. In math students practice multi-step multiplication, problem solving and measurement. Updating skills in reading and writing are also emphasized in fourth grade.
