H1N1 Information
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Health,
has produced two videos to inform parents and school personnel of the steps they can take to prevent
the spread of H1N1 A Influenza (also known as “swine flu”) and seasonal influenza.
The videos — “H1N1 for Parents” and “H1N1 for Educators” — are available for viewing on the VDOE H1N1
Influenza A Web site at this address:

School divisions are requested to post links to the videos on school and division Web sites. Divisions and
schools with the capability of distributing mass e-mails to parents and employees are requested to send the
following non-emergency, informational message to parents and staff:
