Cafeteria

Lunchtime is a time to relax, to enjoy the company of friends, and to enjoy a nutritious meal.  In the process, it is important that we respect everyone’s right to enjoy his or her lunch.

Packed Lunches: We discourage snack foods and outside "fast foods" in the cafeteria. According to the new School Board policy, soft drinks and sodas are not permitted at school.

Lunchroom Rules

Our simple rules are as follows:

1. I will follow the red lines and walk to enter and leave.

2. I will talk quietly to friends around me.

3. I will be silent when the lights are turned off.

4. I will keep my hands and feet to myself.

5. I will be respectful to the cafeteria staff.

6. I will leave my area clean and eat only my food.

7. I will raise my hand if I need help.

Discipline Procedures:

If all of the students follow the cafeteria guidelines, there should be no need for the use of these disciplinary procedures.  However, if any student chooses not to follow the guidelines, the following steps will be taken.

1.  Warning

2.  No talking or seat assignment. (could be individual or group)

3.  Assignment to the silent lunch table in the cafeteria

4.  Conference and/or silent lunch with Principal
