Children will have an opportunity to select leaders, serve on committees, and gain some understanding and appreciation of the democratic process.

Classroom Representatives are elected in grades3-5 each year and also serve on the SCA committee.
Each month the SCA holds meetings and has a Spirit Day, which encourages students and staff to participate in activities such as Camouflage Day, PJ Day and Dress Like a Teacher Day. These days are announced by class representatives as well as posted on our school calendar.
The SCA also sponsors school wide events such as canned food drives and penny wars. These events help raise money for community program.
