Art
Program Overview
The art program at McGaheysville Elementary is very creative. Students do many things in art
class such as making collages, quilt squares, small clay pieces, pictures of their feelings, and
even clay masks! The art program is very diverse and seeks to collaborate in helping to reinforce
subject area SOL's and to teach art SOL's.
Our students really enjoy art class and they know they will be doing something new every day
they go. McGaheysville Elementary students have art class once a week for 45 minutes during one semester
of the school year.
