Quilt Garden
This garden was created as a new learning area for the students, teachers, parents, and the community to gather and learn together. It was designed by third grade student, Sara Hulvey and Master Gardener, Mrs. Carol Gardner. And it features four diamond symmetrical gardens with a bog/moist meadow central garden. There are over 400 native and annual flowers planted by the children. The brick walkways lead you through the garden and JWE's past history. Engraved bricks are placed in honor of retired faculty and staff, to recall students and faculty who have passed away, and to recognize special contributors.
