Classwork (20%)
***Classwork consists of a variety of types of activities. Full credit will be given on most of these assignments if the student shows a good effort. Some assignments will be individually graded on the student’s comprehension of the material.

Homework (20%)
***Homework will be frequent but never lengthy. It is designed to practice information that was just learned or to prepare a student for the next class. Therefore, falling behind on homework assignments is not acceptable and will seriously affect a student’s grade. To receive full credit on a homework assignment, it must be turned in completed and on time. Late assignments will receive much lower grades.

Classroom Grade (25%)
***The remaining 25% of the student’s grade for the grading period will be earned in the classroom through effort, participation, cooperation, behavior, willingness to work well with others, and organization.
