RCPS Announces Its 13th Annual Summer Technology Academy

The 13th annual RCPS Summer Technology Academy will be held every Tuesday and Thursday this coming summer. The Summer Technology Academy involves twenty-one 3-hour workshops scheduled, two per day, beginning June 20. Any employee of Rockingham County Public Schools is eligible to participate. There is no cost for an employee's participation in the workshops and each one attended earns three recertification points.   Morning sessions are from 9:00 - noon and afternoon sessions are from 1:00 - 4:00.  The schedule is shown below.

On the registration screen, you can click to view details of each course including a description, intended audience, skill level necessary, computer platform, and instructor. You can also click to see the current enrollments in each workshop. Those who register will receive an automated e-mail confirming your registration. You can return to this website at any time to check the roster for your workshop.

This summer's workshops are intended for a wide variety of users and include some new offerings which focus on integrating multimedia into instruction.   All employees are welcome to register, but please do not be a no-show.

All workshops are scheduled at the Hulvey Training room at the RCPS School Board office at 100 Mount Clinton Pike, Harrisonburg.
