Teacher Supply Depot has ribbon cutting ceremony at new site

The Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. (REFI) officially opened its new Teacher Supply Depot on August 21 with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an open house for teachers. The new building, which was constructed from funds contributed by the Rockingham Educational Foundation and the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors, houses materials consisting of classroom supplies from pencils and paper to office furniture; all donated by local citizens, businesses, and industries and is free to all Rockingham County School teachers. Located directly behind the School Board Office at 100 Mt. Clinton Pike, the Depot will be open every Thursday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
