Elkton Elementary Fundraiser Nets Over $19,000

Elkton Elementary School recently earned over $19,000 for programs and equipment for the school in its annual "Spring Fling" fundraiser. The county fair-like event consisted of games, food, and the highly popular "pillow auction" where classroom-created pillows go to the highest bidders. Teachers and parents worked together to contribute to the event's success.

"The Elkton Community always comes out in mass to support the school and to have a good time," noted an appreciative Ed Powell, EES Principal.
