Our goal at Cub Run is to provide a warm, inviting, nurturing classroom environment to ensure that each child’s first year in public school is happy and positive. We provide an integrated curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for kindergarten students. We recognize that young children learn through play, social interactions, and meaningful experiences in order to explore and construct their knowledge about the world. As a team, we value and encourage active parent involvement in the classroom as well as parent support at home.
Beginning kindergarten is an important milestone in your child’s life, and we want to do all that we can to make this an enjoyable and challenging first year of school. Your child will benefit from our ability to work in partnership with each other! Please feel free at any time during the year to share information with your child’s teacher to help her understand and better meet the needs of your child.
